Every year on the occasion
of the international exhibition at the Salone del
Mobile, Fusital – an historic Valli & Valli
trademark synonymous with the concept of designer
handles and boasting a joint working relationship
with the most prestigious names of design and
contemporary architecture – show new series as
well as revising some of its famous collections
with fresh interpretations. With reference to the
collections shown this year on the stand, these
included some already successful models that have
been revamped and brought right up-to-date thanks
to the brand’s aptitude for being consistently in
line with the current trends and always very
topical. |

Series H358 JP 1 Duemila,
designed by John Pawson, in which aesthetic
rigour, squared lines and total formal geometry
play an absolute leading role, is an evolution of
Series H343 JP Duemila. |
Series H356
ZH Duemilacinque (design by Zaha Hadid
with Woody Yao) on the occasion of its forthcoming
launch on the market has a new specifically
designed rosette, while for |

Series H354 FOG
Duemilaquattro (design by Frank O. Gehry) a square
rosette replaces the round one formerly used,
creating a fascinating contrast with the sinuous
form of the grip. |
This revision has also
involved handle Series H5015 K2
by Antonio Citterio with Toan Nguyen, perhaps the
most famous of all the Fusital Inox collections,
characterised by an essential cylindrical form.
The renewal is concentrated on the grip that is
“covered” in orange or black leather. |

The ability to always choose a design product

L'intelligenza dei muri
As in the past, the company was
doubly represented
at this Saiedue Living edition too,
taking part in the exhibition L’intelligenza
dei muri (The intelligence of
walls), an exhaustive
trail organized by Uncsaal in collaboration with
Federlegno-Arredo and Bologna Fiere in order to
highlight innovative proposals and products
in the building sector. Valli&Valli
participated at the show in partnership with
door producer TRE-P&TRE-PIU'. |

The Fusital door handle H
5015 (designed by Antonio
Citterio) offered in the new
version with
leather-covered grip, took on the
task of representing the values and
qualities of the trademark that are common to all
the products, these are real furnishing elements
capable of adding value to doors, windows and
furniture, assuring at the same time the maximum
personalisation of interiors both in house
building and in the business contract sector.
Two
very new designs for doors and
windows, both with the VCR
trademark, are offered to the specialists in the
sector: one is built on squared geometrics
accentuating the solidity of brass, the other in
Nikrall Zamak Alloy is also characterised by a
rigorous design which is highlighted by the
contrast of lines conferring lightness and
dynamics to the handle.

Series Fedra H 1039 - design
Jean-Baptiste Sibertin Blanc
A simple door handle, but rich in personality
thanks to the many details that characterise its
form and assure an ergonomic grip. The interplay
of opposing twists at the end of the neck and on
the handle shaft make it easy to the hand and
create a contrast of lines giving a light and
discreet dynamic touch. This is particularly
accentuated by the matt and polished finish of
the chrome/satin chrome version.
This

rose, window handle, window handle with 4
click-positions, straight pull handle, standard
keyhole escutcheon, euro profile cylinder

Siberia H 1040 - design Gabriele e Oscar Buratti
The new Series Siberia is a geometric
composition obtained by combining two strong
forms: the square-based parallel pipe
forms the neck which joins the hexagonal section
shaping the solid grip. The sculptural and
rather icy look of the handle is underlined by
the square rose, in line with the latest
trends.
This series is composed of: door
handle on square rose, window handle on
rectangular plate, window handle with 4
click-positions on rectangular plate, “offset”
pull handle, centre distance mm 300 square
standard keyhole and euro profile cylinder
keyhole, escutcheon, door key, bathroom privacy
set with square thumb turn and rose.
Material:Brass. Finishes: chrome, satin chrome,
zirtanio-coated polished brass, chrome

We have been
present at: BUDMA 2007, International Construction
Fair, held in Poznan on 23-26 January, was visited
by over 50,000 attendees from 34 countries. Most
of them registered as experts visiting the show.
The professional character of BUDMA was also
confirmed by numerous new offers presented by
almost 1,300 exhibitors from 28 countries We have
introduced there all the lines of handles VCR
Valli&Valli, Fusital and VCR Valli&Valli

Award 2007
An important collection
of Fusital handles will be on display at the show
"Lohas Design Award" to be held near Shinjuki
Gyoen National Garden of Tokyo for the period of
May 2007.

the territory, men, designers (inventors,
entrepreneurs, craftsmen) and innovative objects
representing the typical Milanese capability to
generate creativity.
These are the absolute
protagonists of MILANOMADEINDESIGN, the exhibition
promoted by the Province of Milan and the Chamber
of Commerce of Milan in collaboration with the
Region of Lombardy, and the most interesting
public and private institutions of the territory.
The basic aim of the exhibition is promoting
the region described as a limitless creativity
factory, a place where companies, artisans,
training schools and research centres are in close
daily contact, which brings a level of quality in
planning and manufacturing unequalled anywhere
else in the world: design aesthetics value,
functionality, and a lifestyle representing the
Made in Italy appellation.
The exhibition lead
is design knowledge perceived not only as narrow
book-learning but as a broad sense of all the
phases of the production process. The kind of
learning that is not easily replicated - the kind
of learning coming from a community's common
knowledge of a particular tradition of
entrepreneurial endeavour, artisanal practices,
and a network of small and medium size
enterprises. A complex system where the role of
man, contributing with his own skills, his talent
and work are fundamental.
After the successes of Milan,
New York and Toronto, we will be present, with a
big selection of Fusital products, also in Tokyo
and in the next showings of Shanghai and
Pechino. |
